ashleigh whitford (F/12 yrs old) President of the Lady Jean Ladies.
the leader and the most experienced rider in the bunch. she used to be fat. all of the girls look up to her, even though she can be horrendous, because there is something dynamic and infectious about her.

RUBY DAY

(She/Her)

Ruby Day is a singer, stage and voiceover actor, and teaching artist based in the Bay Area, with a degree in Musical Theatre from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Some of her favorite roles: Star to Be in Annie (The National and International Tour) Snow White in SF’s longest running musical revue, Beach Blanket Babylon, Carrie in Carousel, Orinda in Sleeping Beauty (Panto in the Presidio) Ilse in Spring Awakening. 

Aside from theater, she has also performed as a soloist with the San Francisco Symphony, back-up danced for Belle and Sebastian at Radio City Music Hall, and is a graduate of the clown conservatory of SF. Ruby also has a deep passion for making music with her dear friends and has many creative projects a-brewin’. Upcoming.. Ruby will be at the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe with her besties performing their show Sex, Camp, Rock & Roll. After that, see her as Jenna in Waitress at SFplayhouse this winter!

tiffany gesuvia (F/13 yrs old) Vice President of the Lady Jean Ladies. robin’s older sister. ashleigh and tiffany have been best friends since they were born. tiffany is infinitely jealous of ashleigh—and always one step behind. although a smart and an excellent rider, she is never seen because ashleigh is always blocking the view.

Lara Treharne-Jones

(She/Her)

Lara Treharne-Jones recently graduated from Tamalpais High School, where she was an active member of the Conservatory Theater Ensemble. She has performed with ‘Til Dawn Acapella for the past four years around the Bay Area. In the fall she is heading to Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University to pursue her BFA in acting. She is thrilled to join such an amazing group of artists!!

margaret flanaghan (F/12 yrs old) Treasurer of the Lady Jean Ladies. wets the bed sometimes. she loves horses and being a part of this club because it makes her feel like less like a freak.

ELENOR IRENE PAUL

(She/They)

Elenor Irene Paul is a Sonoma County native who has trained and worked in theaters in Marin and Sonoma County since she was, in fact, 12 years old. Some of her favorite roles include Caroline Bingley in Pride and Prejudice the Musical (RVP), Sarah Brown in Guys and Dolls (6th Street Playhouse), and Ariel in The Tempest (Redwood Theater Company). Outside of theater, Elenor makes time for birding, cooking, and her friends and family.

isn’t particularly amazing at riding horses, but she loves the animals. she loves taking care of them. she loves watching them run.

EMILY CORBO

(She/Her)

Emily Corbo is a lifelong horse girl and performer. Favorite stage credits include the immersive theatrical experience The Speakeasy (Boxcar Theatre), the musical Follies (SF Playhouse),  Fahrenheit 451 (Quantum Dragon Theatre), and the world premiere of David Copperfield, The New Musical (Jewel Theatre Company).

sam Hannum

(She/They)

Sam Hammun is an LA based actor with crippling anxiety and a fascination for the macabre. They are disciplined in theatre, film and commercial work, and most recently appeared in the American premiere of Innocence with the SF Opera. Sam really really hopes you like the show. Pleeeease please please like the show oh my god.

Shayna Ann Howlett is thrilled to present Horse Girls with this incredible team. Prior credits include Measure for Measure (The Duke) with the American Conservatory Theater; Hamlet (Laertes) with Vallejo Shakespeare in the Park; A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Titania) with the Foodbank Players; The Comedy of Errors (Antipholus of Ephesus) with Prague Shakespeare Company; Hamlet (Rosencrantz) with the University of California, Berkeley Theater Department; and Dog Sees God (Van's Sister) and 1984 (The Loudspeaker) with Barestage Productions.

LILY MARCHESCHI

(She/Her/They)

Lily Marcheschi is an unmedicated artist who has developed an unhealthy relationship with the word “slay”. She is an actor, dancer, clown, and has started to turn her control issue into the healthy skill, of directing. She has worked with A.C.T., B.U., The Groundlings, the Atlantic Acting Conservatory, and yo mama. I am so sorry.

Most recently, Lily was in a UPS commercial. Look out for lying about being a ceramicist on a bus stop near you.
